Naturalist and educator Becky Lash will give a presentation for children about birds in springtime. She will of course touch on migration and plumage, and will stress nest-building. After her talk and demonstration, there will be a craft project of building nest boxes using dried gourds, which the children may take home.
Becky is a beloved and popular teacher in Woods Hole, having taught at the Children’s School of Science for years. She also taught third grade at the North Falmouth School. All children who have had the opportunity of her teaching, have learned to appreciate the natural world and to share in her enthusiasm.
