As part of the celebration of National Poetry Month, the Woods Hole Public Library has invited  poet Shelby Allen, of Falmouth and Boston to read from her body of work.  She will read from her volume of poems “Crack Willow, Poems of Transformation” which was published in 2011    by  Cherry Grove Collections. Ms. Allen is practiced in speaking and teaching; she has taught poetry in prisons, been an actress, and has led tour groups in the Boston Public Library. Her poetry and essays have been published in poetry journals as well as the New York Times and the Boston Globe. Books will be available for purchase.

Parking will be available at the Library and the Museum next door. The audience should enter the Library at the lower level. For more information, call the Library at 508-548-8961. Free and open to the public.
