Updated on March 16:

Dear Patrons and Friends,

In compliance with the recent order from Governor Baker, as well as the Town of Falmouth, the Woods Hole Public LIbrary will be closed to the public until at least April 6. We are closely following the situation and will reevaluate what services we can provide in a safe manner in the coming days. We encourage our patrons to make use of our online resources like OverDrive, which can be easily accessed through our website at woodsholepubliclibrary.org/ebranch/. Librarians can be reached via email at whpl_mail@clamsnet.org for assistance with using these resources or for any other inquiries our patrons might have.

We are asking that all patrons that have library materials at home to keep those materials for the time being. All overdue fines will be waived. If you have items on hold and are waiting to receive them, please note that all interlibrary loan delivery has been suspended at this time.

Please keep an eye on our website and our Facebook page for any further updates. Bringing our community together is at the core of the Library’s mission, and we will try our hardest to carry out that mission in these days of social distancing.
