Join us in the Library courtyard for a celebration of all things apples! Learn how to make a festive autumn bunting using recycled books and apple prints, taste test different varieties of apples to find your favorite, an apple story-time, and more fun! This gathering will be held outside in the Library courtyard on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 1PM.
Participants will cut their bunting material out from books that have been loved to pieces, giving them new life. Each page will be adorned with prints using real apples, and then the pages will be strung together to create a beautiful bunting. This fun and easy project is perfect for young kids with a parent/caregiver to help out, or for anyone who would like to create a festive decoration for the season.
