B J Atwood-Fukuda will read from her recent fiction and other writing at the Woods Hole Public Library on Monday, August 18, at 6:00pm. Each summer the community is fortunate to hear a selection of B J’s recent work, with this year marking her 12th reading at the Library. Working in both fiction and nonfiction, B J’s work includes an account of her ten years as a volunteer guide at the Rubin Museum of Art and an award-winning excerpt from her novel-in-progress, Beautiful. Other publication highlights include a novella entitled Nice Piano, and work in Great American Prose Poems from Poe to the Present and Free Radicals: American Poets Before Their First Books. B J lives and works in Spuyten Duyvil, NY and Woods Hole.
