B J Atwood-Fukuda will read from her fiction and other writing at the Woods Hole Public Library on Monday, August 12, at 6:30pm. This summer, which is her 11th reading at the Library, B J will share her reminiscence of ten years as a volunteer guide at the Rubin Museum of Art, which is closing this fall after just 20 years. This work will be published by the online journal Cable Street in September. An excerpt from her novel-in-progress, Beautiful, won a Novel Slices Award in 2023 and was published in both the print and online editions of NS #6. Other publication highlights include a novella entitled Nice Piano, and work in Great American Prose Poems from Poe to the Present and Free Radicals: American Poets Before Their First Books. B J lives and works in Spuyten Duyvil, NY and Woods Hole.
