The Woods Hole Public Library will offer two opportunities for holiday book shopping on Saturday, December 2. At the Library, the regular year-round book sale will be bigger and more festive than ever, with books not only on the shelves on all the walls, but also on tables which will be set up through the middle of the room. With a selection of new publications and collectible, rare titles, there is truly something to delight every reader. The sale will be open from 10am to 5:30pm on Saturday, December 2, and is planned to coordinate with the Renaissance Fair, just down the road at the Woods Hole Community Hall, so people can enjoy shopping at both locations. After that day, the sale will continue during regular Library open hours through the New Year.

Also on Saturday, December 2, shoppers can find even more gift-worthy literary treasures at Water Street Kitchen during Books & Bubbles from 12pm to 3pm. An attractive, curated selection of used books will be available for purchase, along with festive drinks. For every drink sold, Water Street Kitchen will donate $1 to the Library, so shoppers are encouraged to embrace the festive atmosphere and enjoy a glass of bubbles! Water Street Kitchen will also offer a generous gift card promotion. For every $100 gift card purchased you will receive an additional $20. A merry, convivial atmosphere can always be found at this annual event, where shoppers can get a good start on their holiday shopping and visit with friends at the same time.

These book sales are a major source of fundraising for the Library, and purchasing used books is a great way to keep these materials out of landfills and into the hands of eager readers. For more information either call the Woods Hole Public Library at 508-548-8961 or visit the website www.woodsholepubliclibrary.org. The Library is at 581 Woods Hole Road, just as the road curves into the center of the village.
