The Woods Hole Public Library’s next craft workshop will be “Button Bracelets.”  Library Board member Lynn Shepherd, who is an avid craftswoman and superb quilter, will lead the session on February 27 at 7 PM. She says that she has heard people wondering what to do with all those pretty orphaned buttons in their button boxes. She suggests making a “stylish” bracelet and challenges “If you can sew on a button you can make this bracelet”.

Lynn will make the bracelet bases, but people should bring their own fancy buttons, sewing needle, black thread (and white thread if using light colored buttons) and scissors.  Lynn encourages people to come so they can ‘Wow all your friends with your new one-of–a- kind bracelet which you made yourself.”

There will be no additional charge for the workshop, but people must call the Library to register, as the number of participants is limited.
