The Woods Hole Public Library will screen a new family movie based on the beloved best selling children’s book “The Wild Robot” by Peter Brown on Saturday, December 28, at 3pm. This epic adventure follows an intelligent robot named Roz who is shipwrecked on a deserted island and must learn to adapt to its new environment. New friends are made and life lessons are learned in this heartwarming tale. The film opened in theaters this past September and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. The book is part of a trilogy that has likewise received rave reviews from children and adults alike. All are welcome to attend this free screening, which will be held in the Library’s lower level Community Room.
