The Woods Hole Public Library Social Justice Book Group with discuss Shefali Luthra’s “Undue Burden: Life and Death Decisions in Post-Roe America” on Wednesday, March 11, at 7pm on Zoom. One reviewer notes: “In her empathetic book, Luthra capably zooms in on private stories and zooms out on the laws that have irrevocably changed lives, proving the feminist adage: The personal is political.”

This book has received rave reviews widely. The personal stories draw  in readers who tend to avoid the subject, but need to learn of its far reaching implications.
All are welcome to join the Zoom discussion. Please email whpl_mail@clamsnet.org for the link. Books are available at the library and at Eight Cousins on the discount book group shelf.
