Local storyteller San Lyman will be telling the tale of “Cousin Madeline” at the Woods Hole Public Library on Wednesday, April 5, at 2 p.m. Cousin Madeline is better known as Madeline Russell, a member of Boston’s elite society (and distant relative of San) who defied cultural expectations with a high-profile divorce and larger-than-life persona in the first half of the 20th century. Intrigued? San promises an “amusing and anecdotal” talk that will travel from Boston to Milton to Naushon Island and beyond!
