Armchair travelers will have the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica via an illustrated talk with Jennifer Gaines at the Woods Hole Public Library on Monday, May 6, at 3pm. Jennifer is a recently retired Woods Hole librarian who helped begin the popular travel talk series at the Library many years ago. Now, with her new-found free time, she has been able to do some traveling herself, and the Library is delighted that she has agreed to share her experiences. Her recent trip to Costa Rica with Road Scholar took her on two sequential 10-day birding trips, first a northern loop, then a southern loop. Jennifer will share her pictures of many of the special endemic species she encountered, as well as share photos of her experience in this beautiful country.
This program will be held in the Woods Hole Public Library’s lower-level meeting room, and is free and open to the public.
