Knitters looking for a bit of distraction during these turbulent times are all welcome to join in on Woods Hole Public Library’s virtual sock knitalong! The rules are simple: knit a pair of socks using any pattern before May 31! Photos of projects, both in progress and completed can be emailed to the Library at firstname.lastname@example.org or posted to the WHPL Facebook page. Knitters who successfully complete a pair of socks will be entered to win fun and fabulous prizes!
Unfortunately, due to the Library closure knitters won’t have access to the Library’s great selection of sock pattern books, including the brand new 52 Weeks of Socks, published by Laine Magazine. Knitters that would like to use a pattern from one of the Library’s books may contact us via email, and we will try to scan and email the pattern for personal use. There are also many great free patterns online, easily found on Ravelry.
