The Woods Hole Public Library is holding their fifth annual Accessories and Adornments Sale of new and gently used jewelry and accessories for men and women on Saturday, August 3 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The Library will be selling women’s jewelry, scarves, hats, and belts, as well as men’s ties, belts, and hats (but not baseball caps). All these items have been donated to the Library especially for the sale.

Last year’s participants jumped at the chance to divest themselves of extra items already in their collections by donating them to the sale, as well as purchasing new ones at bargain prices. Both rooms in the lower level of the library will be filled with an attractive display of the donations, beckoning to purchasers. Expectations are high for a repeat of last year’s time of sharing, with eager buyers creating a scene reminiscent of Filene’s basement.

The Library is seeking donations of women’s jewelry, pocketbooks, wallets, backpacks, scarves, hats, belts, gloves, and sunglasses. For gentleman we seek donations of ties, wallets, backpacks, belts, gloves, scarfs, sunglasses, hats (no baseball hats, please).

Donations can be dropped off at the Woods Hole Library before Friday August 2nd, during regular Library hours. All proceeds of the sale will directly benefit the Libraries operating budget and programming. Thank you for your support!
