  • Date:

Many summer concert-goers in Woods Hole will recognize Matthew Liebendorfer, violinist, from his days with the extremely popular “Geostrophic String Quartet” with Falmouth locals Bill Simmons, Evie McFadden, and David Hobbie. When the Simpson’s retired a few years ago, David and Matthew brought in new musicians and were unofficially dubbed “The NeoGeostrophic Quartet”. This year, a new iteration of the Quartet has been officially named the “Clerici String Quartet”.  Matthew is joined on violin by Gigi Turgeon, Elaine Leisinger on viola and Jennifer Minnich on cello. They will perform a selection of works from Haydn, Mendelssohn, and Dvorak. Sure to delight a full house, buy your tickets early!

Tickets are available for $25 and can be purchased at the library, Eight Cousins Bookstore, Bank of Woods Hole, or online by clicking here
