We’re keeping our classic holiday films rolling on Wednesday, December 21 with an after-school family screening of A Child’s Christmas in Wales. This film, released in 1987 is an adaptation of Dylan Thomas’ classic poem about Christmastime in a small Welsh town. A grandfather, stirred by his beloved grandson’s anticipation of the holiday, takes a lyrical journey back to his own boyhood Christmases in a small Welsh village. Through the eyes of a child, the old man describes his childhood remembrances, bringing the days of the past back to life.
