Ready for spring? The Woods Hole Public Library will hold its annual Plant Sale on Sat. May 14 from 9 till noon, rain or shine. What makes this sale so unique is that almost every plant is donated to the sale by local gardeners. The most successful perennials are always in great abundance. If you would like to donate labeled plants, they can be dropped off in the library courtyard anytime during the week before the sale (May 7-13).
The annual plant sale on the Library lawn is one of the highlights of spring in Woods Hole. It is also a vital source of operating funds for our village library. We hope that you will come to the sale and bring your friends. We always have a wonderful selection of plants exotic and common, for your home and garden.
Do you have vegetable and flower seedlings, shrubs ,bulbs, dahlia tubers, perennials, or other garden plants that you would like to donate to the Woods Hole Public Library for the plant sale? Tomatoes, basil, herbs, and peppers are always very popular. Pots, dirt, and label sticks will be available at the Library starting in late April.
