“Some bits about Malta”

Woods Hole residents Nan and Phil Logan traveled to the island nation of Malta in March and found “ghosts of knights, temples older than  Stonehenge and loads of boats.” They will be showing photos of the intriguing architecture and archeology, as well as some of the colorful boats native to Malta. They will also touch on the rich history of the area, most notably the Knights of Malta, who moved across the Mediterranean to Malta after the Crusades.

To hear more about this fascinating country, with its limestone cliffs arising from the sea between Sicily and the North African coasts of Tunisia and Libya, come to the Library for this event, which is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Library at 508-548-8961.
