This month the Armchair Traveler book club will be navigating the waters of England’s canal system! We are reading The Narrowboat Summer by Anne Youngson, the story of three women, each at a crossroads, who take a break from their everyday lives to bring a canal boat on a months-long journey to a repair shop. Eve and Sally have never spent time on a boat before and must learn the ways of the water. At the end of the summer, the women must decide whether they want to return to life as it was or explore new possibilities.
