This production about a family forced to move from London to rural Yorkshire near a railway line was captured live by Genesius Pictures at the National Railway Museum. Directed by Damian Cruden, Artistic Director of York Theatre Royal, The Railway Children features the original locomotive from the much-loved 1970’s film and explores themes of justice, the importance of family and the kindness of strangers. Running time is approximately 110 minutes.
