The recently formed Woods Hole Public Library “Forgotten Gems Book Group” will continue to meet at 4 PM on the first Wednesday of each month. This book group is open to all and will focus on titles that are no longer prominent, but still worthy of reading, having stood the test of time.
The group will be led by librarian Kellie Porter, who holds a master’s degree in literature and, naturally, loves to read. She also takes great pleasure in discussing books and hearing other people’s opinions about their shared reading.
Book chosen for this discussion: “Thousand Cranes” by Yasunari Kawabata.
