Event Details

The Annual Tag Sale and Carnival for Kids is, as usual, run by and for kids, and marks the time of their becoming fully re-involved in Woods Hole summer life. The “Library Kids” look forward to running this event which is filled with new versions of old fashioned games and timeless pleasures. Their parents are delighted that the kids are learning both organization and responsibility as well as community service while having fun. Games included in the morning are a Bean Bag Toss, Wheelbarrow Races and Musical Chairs. The activities include henna tattoos, “Mermaid Toes” (toenail polish), and making edible necklaces. Proceeds go towards Library programming for kids. Items for the Tag Sale may be dropped off in the late afternoon in the week preceding the sale, July 3-7, during Library open hours, which always include 3-5:30 PM. The sale will include toys and games and other kid stuff. Second-hand bikes are a highlight of the sale.
