Discussion will highlight issues about the VSED (Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking) process… how to die with dignity and without pills, and issues of being a caregiver for the dying process.
The event will feature a showing of Colorado filmmaker Karen van Vuuren’s award-winning documentary film, “Dying Wish”.
The film, running time 29 minutes, focuses on hospice patient Michael Miller, 80, a retired surgeon with end-stage cancer who chooses to stop eating and drinking to avoid prolonging his dying process, to ease his suffering and to die with grace on his own terms.
As usual, we have no ‘featured speaker’, and that has resulted in some very helpful interchange of important information. We invite you to attend if you are interested in death, something we will all do once.
