The Woods Hole Public Library will be hosting a one-session writing workshop on Saturday, November 16. The session will be led by Caroline Joy Adams, M.Ed. who has been leading a popular six-part series at the Library over the past two months. This new workshop will focus on how to write a short memoir, from 2-10 pages. Ms. Adams believes that “a powerful piece of memoir does not does not have to take up a whole book….even a well-crafted piece of writing that is only 500-2500 words in length can be extremely meaningful, helpful and inspiring to those who read it.”

Ms. Adams is the author of four published books and is currently working on a new book to be published in the spring of 2020 , entitled Your Story Can Change Someone Else’s: How to  Write Your Most Powerful, Inspiring Short Memoir.

The three and one half hour workshop will be offered free of charge, but people must register in advance by calling the Woods Hole Public Library at 508-548-8961. Attendance will be limited to 20 people.
