Although we were unable to host our Annual Plant Sale (of more than 40 years), we are planning a Seedling Swap for gardeners who may have enthusiastically started more seeds than they can use in their gardens. Here is what we have planned:
On Saturday, May 23 we’ll have a table or two set up outside by the book drop for seedlings. Beginning at 10:00 AM, seedlings (with labels) can be dropped off. All are welcome to check out the offerings and take a few home. If you would like, you can make a donation to the Library with available envelopes. This would be appreciated, though it is certainly not required! Hopefully your gardens will flourish and provide great bounty and pleasure this summer.
As you are tending your perennial beds, keep the Library in mind for a Fall Perennial Sale. Late summer and early fall are perfect times to divide those well established plants.
We would like participants to keep in mind the necessary social distancing required to keep us all healthy and safe from Covid 19. Please wear a mask and give each other space as you drop off and pick up seedlings.
